The Red Wedding

After two weeks of waiting there was finally a broadcast, and not just one. I regretted it as pro-Lannister that their story was not in it, but for me this was the best episode of season 3 (so far)!

Daenerys Targaryen

Let’s start with Daenerys Targaryen, with its commanders discusses the conquest of Yunkai. Ser Jorah Mormont has his doubts, but decided the Mother of Dragons join in the plan of Daario go. This proved a good decision, because that same night the city fell. I liked once more the Daenerys storyline to see and immediately a lot with a little action.

Bran had this episode also plenty of scenes to show that he will control it. ‘Warg’ are getting better He lets his gift Hodor, who is afraid of thunder, unwind as Jon Snow and Willings come close. Bran then penetrates into Summer, his dire wolf, the Wildlings to dislodge them. Jon attacks Jon then, flight while leaving Ygritte ..

The red wedding

Robb Stark

Throughout the episode we go see how Robb Stark and his entourage go to the Twins, there to marry one of the daughters of Walder Frey. Edmure Tully The party said the same Walder “. The wine will flow red and the music will play loud, and we’ll put this mess behind us” Coincidentally, this wedding also called the ‘Red Wedding’, and ten minutes before the episode at the end it becomes clear why. ‘The Rains of Catamere “the unofficial song of the Lannisters, sounds louder through the hall as Edmure and his new bride away. Catelyn smells danger and begins to get what Walder Frey plans. Then the complete chaos erupts and ask yourself whether this really happened. To make matters worse Arya also comes just at the castle, which is then taken back by the Hound, from the gates.

I’ve been reading the books in book two (A Clash of Kings), but I just read the chapter for the form in which this ‘Red Wedding’ takes place and although I normally say something else, I now believe that the series was better than the book. Of course, it is a difficult scene to write, but to image seems even more difficult. Although I knew the story, I was still on the edge of my seat to watch how this drama unfolded.

And I loved it.
